Just finished First Marshal! A great follow up from Lioness of the Parch. What a great read. Really loving Tahlia as a character and how she's growing in her role. Hopefully we get more of her adventures in the future?

Burgundy looks great as does magenta? Green for the lenses is classic but I'm surprised how much I like the blue?

After playing with speed paints for a bit, I thought I'd try my hand at a more traditional method. Edge highlights are still difficult but I've tried. Behold, a mighty necron of the trial-paint dynasty? #warhammer #wepaintminis #necrons #40k #wargaming

Thanks for the help! They had a little eat and a drink and I took them out this morning but they didn't seem to want to fly away. I've taken them to a local vet who handles avian care to see if they are chipped or registered. Hopefully they can find a way home somehow?

I guess I'll wait til the morning and try and see if they can fly? They didn't show any indication of flying tonight. Hopefully there's a local vet or group that can help. This is really out of my area of experience but I had to do something?

I went inside and got a box and punched some holes in it After trying to lure them into the box I opted just to scoop them. I was worried if they stayed where they are they'll get eaten or squashed I've given them a tiny portion of rice and some water and left them in the box

So, I drove home from my friend's today and as I got back there's a pigeon blocking my parking space. I got out and had to move them so they wouldn't get run over. They seemed to be sitting really still. A quick Google search says a blue leg band means they're domesticated or a pet

Got my order in! Really enjoyed the writing style of Day of Ascension and eager to see where this one goes. Seraphon are awesome, it's great to see them get a novel!

I really love the design of this model, it's one of my all time favourites. Love the boldness of the purple against the gold. The free hand on the shield is a nice touch too. Great work with the blade!

Official paint scheme - too difficult Original paint scheme - too similar to everyone else's ideas Choice paralysis and the project stalls

Friends on bsky! It's post Christmas which once again means I've received the customary gift of Amazon gift cards from people who don't know what to buy me. What's even worth buying on Amazon these days? Everything I see is either cheaper elsewhere or looks of questionable quality? Suggestions pls
