Got a walk in the snow with my boy, Henry, today. Always fun to see him romping through the snow.

Perfect distillation of this person. www.theguardian.com/us-news/live...

Quote from the linked article: The president then ended the brief news conference by saying: "Thank you everybody. Have a good flight. Fly safely. You know why I say that? Because I'm on the flight. Otherwise I wouldn't care.

This match has been wild! Crazy amount of stoppage.

Enjoying our first trip abroad in #Rotterdam after a week in Turkey. Hate that we haven't done this before. Really interesting experience getting out of the US.

They need to get a designer who can build a header. Oh and why is it a non-.gov site?

We finally hung up new art in the house after Christmas and I thought it would share some of them. This is by an artist from our hometown, Porkchop. We hung it over the door we normally leave the house from as a reminder as we head out into the world.

Oil painting illustrating robots in hats floating through a jewel and star-filled space background. Below is a photo of the back of the painting where the artist has written: "We're not lost. We're exploring. XO Porkchop".

So I guess Sen. Tillis is just going to stamp those nominees. This is the response after sending a contact message about my concerns with cabinet nominees.

Thank you for contacting me about executive branch nominations by President-elect Donald Trump. I appreciate hearing from you.

The American people delivered a clear message that they want the country to move in a new direction by electing Donald Trump as our next President. Once the new Senate majority is sworn in in January, its top priority must be considering and confirming President-elect Trump’s Cabinet nominees. I look forward to working with President-elect Trump, fulfilling the Senate’s advice and consent role, and confirming his nominees as quickly as possible.

In addition to the Cabinet posts, there are over 1,000 positions that require Presidential nomination and Senate confirmation. However, not all Presidential nominees and appointments are subject to Senate confirmation. For example, Presidential cabinet positions, the secretaries of the various agencies, ambassadors, and federal judges do require Senate confirmation, while most employees of the White House do not.

Thank you again for taking the time to contact me. Please do not hesitate to reach out again about other important issues.

Sincerely,

Thom Tillis
U.S. Senator
