It explained AND, OR, and NOT to children who had not yet learned long division. Some of those children went on to design processors. The rest went into estate agency. By all means have both, but understand that distributed solar is not a replacement for the grid, simply an optimisation. FWIW 50% of my electricity still comes (overnight) from the grid and that will increase as I move more load to heat-pumps. 000
