SUPPORT THERUNGG!!! 100% community driven, open source, always improving. SRC is owned by a corporation that doesn't care about growing anything but their bank account.

Leaderboards need to be community owned. The nerve of some private company to march into our hobby and act like they own our creative property, having contributed nothing other than hosting glorified spreadsheets, is appalling. Even if they walk this back again, it’s probably high time to ditch SRC

SRC changed their terms of use yesterday, and released a news post with an FAQ. They make it sound like not a big deal. It's a big deal. The Creative Commons licence is gone. They claim ownership over the data now. Thread about what this means, and what we can do about it 🧵

As a professional Zelda speedrunner and lifelong fan of the series, many people have been asking me for my take on the Ocarina of Time remake. My opinion on the game is yet undetermined and hinges on one singular point: how they model Bombchu Bowling Alley lady.

Twitch has no idea how streaks work apparently. If you watch a stream (and it ends), then miss a (new different) stream, then watch the following (new different) stream what should your streak be? According to Twitch it would now be at 2 instead of 1. Galaxy 🧠 stuff here.

I think the best one I ever had was the turtle beach x12 but that's long been out of production which is why I got a blue yeti at some point.

Unironically saying marathon run submissions should only be for the top couple of runners is such a sad take. Good on the Mario 3D World community for rejecting that.

I'd like to use this opportunity to clarify something: if you think a text file that reads "delete everything" is malware, you are a clown. If you use Claude or other agent tools, you are a clown. You are not welcome on our site, in our community, or frankly anywhere.

I fixed the usamune wad so you can actually boot it from the wii menu instead of being required to boot it through homebrew to run it.

Pepsi Man is back and this time he runs in your browser. The cult PS1 classic now has widescreen support, controller input and online leaderboards. A strange comeback, but a seriously impressive one. #PepsiMan #PS1 #RetroGaming

Pepsi Man just came back, and you can play it in your browser

Pepsi Man has always been one of the PlayStation’s stranger releases. It’s a fast, simple action game built around a soft-drink mascot, a lot of running

It has been criminally underreported but Kelsey Pfendler has just rowed solo across the Pacific Ocean from the US coast to Hawaii in record time. A 2,400-mile unsupported journey in 43 days, 17 hours, and 55 minutes. Notably beating the Men’s record by 9 whole days.
