1/2 I really hate to ask this. But if anyone can spare anything, I really need some gas and grocery money. I'm in the process of trying to get my debts lined out and paid, and it's taking all of my paycheck, every paycheck. My mom is helping me how she can but is on retirement. Please help!

I have long wanted art of Velitas by @wicksandwheat.bsky.social and jumped on the chance to get one as a birthday treat. Absolutely DELIGHTED with how it turned out. He wears Verrot's influence so well! Thank you, thank you!!

An Elezen man in his mid thirties with brown skin and chestnut hair is nude, but tastefully draped in shot silk and is half-seated on a weathered grave marker. A garland of roses and sweet orange blossom—fit for a bride—is around the man's shoulders and the grave marker, linking him with death. Two candles are lit at the grave, burning with an eerie, pale flame, though the epitaph is unreadable by their ghostly light. Behind him, a tangle of dark purple sloes and blackthorn brambles is in a gilt frame, crowned with a star. A field of somber black and purple in the background balances the lushness of fruit and flower.

Every once in awhile I think about this Nancy comic and it makes me laugh every single time. Absolute perfection.

Nancy by Ernie Bushmiller.

First panel, Nancy talking to a logger sawing a tree and pointing to a carved piece of trunk.

Nancy: Can I have that piece? My boy friend carved it.
Logger: Sure.

Second panel, Nancy is watching the log burn in the fire place.
Nancy: I'm mad at him.
