When we find that these men were told about a hearing a couple of hours on advance, Alito is going to argue that the government met their due process burden. I will fucking lose my mind if this is what is happening, but this is one reason why SCOTUS’s 5-4 opinion was shit.

The White House basically gave Boasberg no choice. And unless they start cooperating very quickly, possibly even if they do, they’re looking at criminal contempt like a freight train. Yes. The CFC owners at the time didn’t think the money worked for them. They knew an outside (of the board at the time) investor would be necessary and were not opposed to that idea. Just a year later a major investor was identified. He is the current majority owner.

His initial offer was insulting to the CFC ownership. They they offered to partner with him. He was not interested. At that point, the attitude from him and usl was “join or die”. Thanks for the shoutout to the pod and for bringing attention to soccer in Chattanooga.
