You notice that the criminal-in-charge who sues everyone for everything is drop dead quiet about this. Says a lot.

Enjoyed @jacobsoboroff.bsky.social this morning. It appears in the immigration story, the worst of the worst are our own federal employees.

Already did. It was something of a wrench but I wouldn’t change that decision.

I hope many, if not most of us are ready to stand up against the oligarchy even when it is personally inconvenient. Bari Weiss is about to be handed control of CNN. I will not watch CBS now and will add CNN when it is subsumed by MAGA.

But I hope he develops more messages that tells Georgians about what his actual plans are to fix the mess rather than just throw rocks at the ones who have made this mess.

I see most of the press AND Democratic politicians are completely consumed with trumps doctor’s visit while the entire MAGAt viewpoint is under attack in Texas.

One more broadcast network I won't be watching any more.

And as long as so many of us who rail against his greed and cruelty won’t make the effort to disentangle ourselves from Amazon, he wins. We are supporting his evil.

000

I wish I was closer to South Carolina! This is a time ICE watching needs to be watched. I hope people can just show up to let America’s newest Marines know we support them AND their families.

Note the GREAT quote in this. “Washington launched the fire, now wants everyone else to navigate the smoke.” I would substitute in the word trump but the world isn’t. He stomps in a puddle but we all get mud on our face.

000

But also prepare for it. Work in your neighborhood to HELP everyone obtain a clean birth certificate, or a clean birth certificate AND a proof of name change. If necessary, we can still win by playing their game. We can play ANY game as soon as we learn the rules.

000

A place now on my "Do Not Fly" list.

000

Sadly, this appears to be true. The ANATOLY KOLODKIN is scheduled to dock on the 31st. She is a crude oil tanker from Russia. More revenue for Putin.

000

I have known, since I had to hide under my desk in the 1950's, that Russia in all of its forms was, is, and will be our top enemy. To our everlasting shame the US and Russia are being discussed with a single sentence all over the world right this minute.

000

That is true but there is a coming opportunity for We the People to assign accountability to each of them in the House and 1/3 of them in the Senate. Don't whine - - VOTE!

000

This was so important the founders included it in the First amendment. This does not spell out separation of Church and state, nor does it grant freedom of religion. It grants freedom FROM religion controlled by the state. "Congress shall make NO laws...." As in zero laws having to do with religion.

000

This is a stain our nation will spend decades recovering from on the world stage.

000

Jim Barclay @jimbarclay.bsky.social · 30/03/2026

And he continues to provide fodder for his impeachment. I suggest those looking for the truth follow @mercoglianos.bsky.social . Sal knows and can show you what shipping is doing anywhere in the world and the 8/10 tankers trump promised DID NOT sail. Sal knows what he's talking about. trump doesn't.

000

A Quinnipiac survey showed 52% of voters disapprove of this war. I see people outraged that this mean 38 approve. Factor in that about 40% of those voter support trump no matter what, this shows a 2% erosion, but also that we must ALL vote and protect that right and those voters.

000

Jim Barclay @jimbarclay.bsky.social · 30/03/2026

@jenpsaki.bsky.social is doing an important job of exposing trump’s lack of a world view. I just wish she was following “What’s Happening in Shipping”. Iran released zero tankers. If someone gave trump that idea - they lied.

Roughly 1/3 of us did not vote in the last election. Those deeply motivated did vote. That 1/3 that didn’t can be motivated if we all get off the couch and start talking to those we can make real contact with.

Jim Barclay @jimbarclay.bsky.social · 16/03/2026

Apparently, we are trapped in a dimension where the dumbest person on earth becomes our President and then he FAs and we find out. If the strait was opened today we will live with rising prices for weeks.

Jim Barclay @jimbarclay.bsky.social · 16/03/2026

This was a powerful statement that should be seen by everyone. Our only hope grows out of We the People.

Pam Bondi swore an oath to the Constitution—not to Donald Trump. She’s betraying that oath every single day. Impeachment is the only answer—the rule of law depends on it. Tell Congress now:

@marcelias.bsky.social did a good job of discussing the SAVE the USA bill you should see. I take issue with one thing. Marc highlight trump is threatening he will sign no bills until he gets his way. As long as the congress is in session he has 10 days to do something with it or it is passed.

If you want the truth about the Strait of Hormuz take a look at this. Sal has studied and taught marine traffic issues for years. This is a BIG problem. youtu.be/W5S2ek2QcHQ?...

Secretary Hegseth on the Strait of Hormuz: DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT | March 13, 2026 Update

YouTube video by What's Going on With Shipping?

000

That is exactly what it means. The crew doesn’t have any input into go or say. Rich executives make that decision based on how convinced they are about the profit they will make per trip. No insurance? No go. High risk of ship and contents going down? No go. End of discussion.

000

As long as Congress is in session he has 10 days to veto a bill. If he doesn’t veto or sign them, they become law. Nobody needs his showy signature.

000

The video was a bit jerky but it looked like the VT State Police were assisting ICE in brutalizing the citizens they swore to protect. I hope that wasn’t true.

001

@benborges.xyz thank you. The fire is very good news but news about trump’s passing on the opportunity to add defense tools for drone attacks is informative and we all needed to know about this.

000

Any FBI Special Agent who has ignored his/her oath and stayed with the Bureau will just have to live through this added embarrassment. I understand ballet training could make them lighter on their feet.

You probably could but the actual task was to distract attention from the shame to be found in the Epstein files.

000

THANK YOU @katiephang.bsky.social ! I did not know of this young man. He simply gives me hope for the future. We need a lot more just like him. Perhaps 535 of him with 100 interested in running for the senate and the rest for the House.

The Marine Shipping industry is extremely complicated. Not one individual in the current administration is smart enough to to understand what they have done. And oil is just one of many major fall-outs; the one the press has recognized. We better also focus some attention on fertilizer.

000

I see there is not one large tanker in or approaching the Strait of Hormuz this morning. This does not bode well for oil or gas prices. In fact, there are zero container ships, too. Anchorages south of the Straits are packed and a large number of ships have turned around and are headed away.

Jim Barclay @jimbarclay.bsky.social · 02/03/2026

But, he has now spent hours trying to look Presidential by presenting medals and bringing lots of ‘brass’ to tell him how great he is doing. This has completely consumed the airwaves as the war is spreading across the middle East like a wildfire.
