the theme i tried to go for here was "games that got me obsessed with something new as a kid" and it's endlessly funny to me that my fighting games origin story isn't Street Fighter 2 (though i did play it) but Mortal Kombat 2 due to the old classic "older cousin's influence"

man. our group choosing to stop playing fortnite late last year was still the right call like, Ethics-wise, but it's really hitting me now how much of a gap it left in our gaming habits that we've never recovered from so we just hang out less and that sucks. i wish other video games were real

i'm sad i didn't get a second chance at Falling Block Jam this year after last year's project didn't quite come together but i couldn't afford to take time from Petal Crash 2 due to it being literally the week before our EA release date, plus we're also getting ready for an event. maybe next year.
