It definitely is working again!!! Hip hip hooray!! Oddly, however, I seem unable to find SCIENTIFIC SWIMMING by J. Frost, 1816 … a book I found when it was last working. Nonetheless that book stays on THE POINT list of swimming books!

Have to say I hated the film when it arrived, but that was only because I deeply loved the books. Julie Andrew’s was not Mary Poppins! I still love & read the books. Every so often I watch the movie, but only because my husband still loves the movie.

I finally let go of my Athenaeum library card last August. Given that I rarely get into Boston, it just wasn't quite right. Not to mention that everyone I had known there has either retired or died! I do miss their card catalogs, which are now in the basement.
