Normally, Derry only sits here in cold weather. It's quite warm, today, but also he got his claw stuck in his usual cat bed, yesterday, so maybe that was the impetus. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Fucking great. When did we get notice about this (other than the woman who is taping them to garage doors right now; she handed me mine, as I was out bringing the recycling can into the garage because we're forbidden to keep either recycling or trash outside, HOAs are so much fun)? Two days ago.

I spent my allowance on this amethyst point I've had since elementary school. It was followed over the years by more amethyst and an assortment of geodes, till The Nature Company at the mall came along; then it was tumbled gemstones. So... I guess I've always been like this, too. 😆

This year has been fine, actually. Didn't lose anyone who has been a nearly lifelong part of my identity, that I have fridge magnets of or anything.

I did unbolt the monitor from the desk, & set the laptop up in its place. It's not 100% as the cooling pad is too big to close the desk, but it'll work during play sessions. I had to cover the bolt holes, so...

I bought an actual CD, this week. It's been a minute. It's still in the plastic, and I'm oddly loathe to remove it. We were talking about Madeline Kahn the other day, and I mentioned her being in this. And I realized my copy of it was on cassette.
