Emerging from the depths to say you should really watch the donghua False Memory (2026)

kiyo @jikkiyochuu.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

I present: my translation of Captivate Time! I recommend reading the 16PRODUCERS Rabbichat as a supplement. #idolish7 #ainana #ainanaTL

Captivate Time
Yaotome Gaku & Tsunashi Ryuunosuke

3 2 1 Like with a snap of my fingers, my magic’s cast in a blink of an eye
Yeah, it’s a Party time that’ll never wear off
No tricks or gimmicks necessary

You’ve been charmed straight away, my serious angle of approach
leaves you to fall without resistance, now sway further and further my way¹

If you’d feel my keen piercing gaze, my passion grinning within,
you’d get it, wouldn’t you?
I’ll hug you tight with an honest overflowing pathos, as if it would never leave your side
Let me lend a hand before you drown
Once you entrust everything to me,
you’ll be about ready to be entranced
Captivate Captivate Captivate

1 2 3 As the days continue to pass, this face excites you more and more
If you Want to see, then there's no reason to wait
Step in and I’ll be right there

My instincts see through, I need no measly scheme
All it takes is a simple, intense loving to you, for you

If you wish for these pure daydreams, my innocent heart that won’t betray,
I’ll pledge them like they’re given
So speak your mind without any pretense, let me hear such a dreamy sound
You’re beautiful when you aren’t being honest too, but
May as well not put up that front
Show your ingenuous being, your truth laid bare to see
Illuminate Illuminate Illuminate

Image description
Without looking anywhere else, just earnestly sing these feelings out
to move on straight ahead in this troublesome world
utterly engrossed

Even if the clock strikes 12, an imperishable fantasy takes its place
C’mon, let’s enjoy this story
Like throwing away the script and walking out, experience this exclusive drama
If you find yourself lost, I’ll take you firmly into my arms
and take you wherever you want
I’ll enchant you and leave you ensnared Forever
Captivate Captivate Captivate

¹ Literally “be dyed deeper and deeper”, but the phrase contains an implication of being influenced

wait omg I didn't even post what my favs were this season (I thought I did here) currently my favorite anime this season are Ikoku Nikki, Tamon-kun, and FSF. honestly pretty solid season of anime in general but those are the ones I look forward to the most

I've been helping friends with uni math (calc, stats, linear algebra) in DMs for a while and thinking of turning this into a small pilot. if you're a student struggling with math, mind helping me out by filling this quick survey? docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...

kiyo @jikkiyochuu.bsky.social · 06/01/2026

Nothing's really caught my attention this season /for now/ (of course, since it just started), but so far the production value of Tamon's B-Side left the biggest impression on me

I finished Tanoshii Moomin Ikka yesterday. I can definitely recommend it for Decembers, preferably a few episodes a night before you head to bed

kiyo @jikkiyochuu.bsky.social · 25/12/2025

I watched the Phantom Blood musical yesterday and after getting over the ridiculousness of the concept, I would say it was a solid adaptation all things considered

Kinda sad that halfway into the season, I'm not really feeling strongly about any anime rn... that can still change but I love the feeling of being in love with a series over its run

I've been busy with the updates on my gacha games (dear lord, it has been one after another) but also watching Love Complex for a change of pace since I usually watch anime

I'm really excited for anemoi 🥺 Hiiro is looking so much to be my type of heroine too. I need the trial version to absorb all the vibes!!

kiyo @jikkiyochuu.bsky.social · 17/08/2025

I haven't talked much about this season's anime but I would say Dekin no Mogura has made me laugh the most out of any anime this season lol

I'm going to disappear for a few weeks because of the HBR EN story update but just for what I was up to lately: I watched Tear Along The Dotted Line and This World Can't Tear Me Down. I recommend them!

Hey, it would mean so much to me if y'all kept up the pressure with phone calls to payment processors to show to them how much people care and that they can't just ignore it—my livelihood depends on adult games not being censored!
