Please describe the issue and what steps we can take to reproduce it:
(Note that “ssh” below is /opt/homebrew/bin/ssh in my search path.)
When | run this command in a Terminal window:

osascript -e 'tell app "Terminal" to do script "ssh hostname date"'

Where "hostname is a host on the local network, | get this in the Terminal
window that opens up:

Last login: Tue Oct 6 18:58:41 on ttys003
ssh hostname date
laptop-hostname:~!500$ ssh hostname date
ssh: connect to host hostname port 22: No route to host
laptop-hostname:~!501$

However, when | modify the osascript command just slightly in a way that
absolutely should not matter:

osascript -e 'tell app "Terminal" to do script "ssh hostname date"' -e "delay 1"
Then the “ssh hostname date” command in the new terminal window succeeds!

If I leave that window open, wait 1 second for the osascript command to exit, and then type “ssh hostname date” in that same window, the second time (now that the osascript command has exited) fails!

This problem does not occur if | use "/usr/bin/ssh" instead of “ssh” (i.e., instead of homebrew ssh).

Open metal ring, about 3/4 of a full circle. Outer diameter about 4 1/2 inches, diameter of the metal about 1/2 inch. Coated with a black, shiny substance. One of the open ends is mostly flat and coated with the black substance, as if it was made that way, the other end looks broken and rusty.
