New paper on the out of home food environment! @jhoenink.bsky.social found that: Online food outlet use in GB increased from 16% in 2019 to 25% in 2022. People with access to more physical outlets in their neighbourhood ate more meals prepared out-of-home. .....

Great to see this, including analyses from @thomasburgoine.bsky.social & @jhoenink.bsky.social who find: *1/4 of places to buy food are fast-food outlets, with more in more deprived areas *healthier foods are more expensive calorie-for-calorie than less healthy food, with the gap widening recently
