Hi y'all! I’m Jessica, a PhD candidate at Kansas State studying how college students engage with sexually explicit fanfiction. My dissertation includes two interconnected studies, & I’m so excited to share that Study 1 is officially live!

I gave a talk today and a very smart victim advocate put why mediation doesn’t work for sexual violence into a single sentence: Once a perpetrator knows the (very reasonable) thing a victim needs, he becomes obsessed with making sure she can’t have it.
