Noire's dream would be to teach necromancy in a class setting. She truly believes her craft is something everyone should no how to do. Realistically though, she is taking great pains to see that her expertise in her job does NOT spread.

Noire is the absolute defense. If she's doing combat on her terms, she is summoning other things to fight for her, but even if you kill her, she won't stay dead. If your win condition is killing her, you have already lost, but then death isn't the worst thing that can happen to you.

Noire and Laurent fall somewhere between Wand-Waving and Surgeon. Noire is slightly more wand wavy as her healing has the scary purple particle effects. Laurent is more surgeon as he uses magic to simulate surgical procedures.

Noire's killing technique is L'appel du Vide where she talks to you in an enchanted soothing voice that just makes your body weaker and weaker until your body can't sustain its own processes anymore. She rocks you to sleep like a baby, singing you a lullaby and then you just don't wake up.
