Thanks! We are using RTIC v2 as the “OS”, although it’s really just a highly optimized scheduler with some primitives for message passing between tasks. It has async for the SW/background tasks. But for the drivers we use embassy/chiptool style

The paradox of safety-critical software: We use languages like C/C++ because they're certified, even if they're memory-unsafe. As Espen Albrektsen said, "It's counterintuitive but that’s the way it is." He sees a future where certified Rust lowers the barrier for safer systems.
