I finished up this hat just in time for my wife’s Hocus Pocus movie night with her friends. I need to stitch the words ‘Hocus Pocus’ on the back, but that can wait until next time 🧶

Incredible!! You can tell it’s made with love as it looks nice and smooth. A hand knitted pair of socks is always a treat! He’s a lucky guy. I still have not managed to find the perfect sock pattern for my US size 16 feet 🦶

I just learned that a “blue moon” isn’t about color. It’s the second full moon in a single month! Normally, we only get one full moon per month, but this May will have two. That’s where the phrase “once in a blue moon” comes from! 🤯

This is definitely the most luxurious yarn I’ve gotten to use. I’m a tight knitter as well, so hopefully I can change my grip to avoid those breaks. I’m sure lots of curse words will be said while knitting this hat 😂

6 nights later and I finally have three cakes of Jojoland Cashmere. This yarn is VERY delicate. I’ll be casting on a copycat CC Beanie for my wife. I’m thinking light pink for the brim held double and a strand of light & dark for the rest 🧶

I was hoping to start a new project tonight, but this skein of Jojoland Cashmere quickly devolved into tangled spaghetti while winding. This is a mess 🧶

I really picked up speed hoping to finish before Christmas, but I just finished up today with the button band. I plan to ship it out tomorrow to my niece. It’s been months since I’ve picked up my knitting needles. I’m so ready for a new project. 🧶

It’s been too long since I’ve given you an update on the koala cardigan that I’m knitting for my niece. I decided to forgo intarsia and opted to duplicate stitch the design. It’s taking ages, but it’s so rewarding seeing the little koala details show up 🧶

I’ve taken the plunge and decided to build my own shelves in the garage. I’ve got to cut and lay down the OSB for the shelves and they are complete. They aren’t very level in some spots but it’s going to work out great.

My self drafted plans for the shelves. The plans have an overview of what the finished product will look like, a spot for inventory needed, and an overview of each shelf.
