Note, 20 to 25% of Albertans prefering to separate from Canada is a number that must not be forgotten. Further disinfomation can easily grow it especiually with a premier who works on culture wars and disinformation.

@newstik Returning some cash to the Federal doesn't automatically make it profitable. If Canada invested $4b the amount being returned should cover not only debt servicing by the government for that $4b but also some profit after that.

Two solitudes. Guy on CBC complains that Trudeau blocked a pieline during hsi first term. Yet, in the East, we blame Trudeau for wasting much money to rescue a failed TMX project and build a money losing pipeline for Alberta.

@bikeloudpdx.bsky.social Please stop using "induced demand". This is the wrong argument. Adding a lane to one street without adding lanes to all other streets does not increase capacity, it just shifts where congestion is. A big 3 lane artery feeding 1 lane streets will cause congestion because […]

@EdwinG Hydro Québec's maps are pretty old ! One of the improvements made with REM construction is underpass under tracks to connect Avenue des Bois to Chemin du Bord du l'Eau. hadn't realised Ave des Bois turns into the 440 and also handles the 148 from St-Eustache.

@EdwinG southbound 168 has a stop on beaver hall corner of Belmont. There is a metro entrance right there. Northbound you have to walk through the former bell/banque nationale towers to get to square Victoria metro.
