This is probably messed up, but when I write my stories, I’m not thinking ‘I wonder which one is going to get me noticed and lead to a lucrative career?’ I’m thinking ‘I wonder which one is going to get me in the most trouble?’

Yes, quite shocking really. I made the point at the time they brought out their ‘human-authored’ campaign that they were going about it completely the wrong way. There should be labels for AI-written books, like health advisories on cigarettes. Well, my suggestion went down like a cup of cold sick.

I left this shambles of an organisation a few months ago. I only joined last December. I wish I hadn’t bothered and I’m slightly ashamed that I did. I would suggest existing members do likewise and end your subscription.

Seen as ‘they’ve cancelled Christmas!’ has already cranked up in the media (bit early, lads) I just wanted to say: ‘if only!’ Give it a few more weeks and Christmas will be inescapable. More’s the pity. I *hate* it. However, the rules of selective freedom of speech mean I’m not allowed to hate it.

First one of these I’ve seen for a while. Had to have it (after seeing it in Oxfam, not buying it because I wasn’t sure if I already had it or not, getting home, checking to find that I *didn’t* have it, ringing up Oxfam to ask them to keep it for me, then getting the bus back in to town to buy it!)
