Best not to have it end up like the romance items in P5... I'd say it doesn't matter since it feels like a bonus.

Aaaaaand we are live! Capture card is good to go, and we are back at the gold saucer in #ff7r on #twitch! #ff7rebirth

Heavy technical difficulties tonight. My capture card would not pick up audio for the life of me. I'll pick up a new capture card tonight and we'll stream tomorrow but I simply cannot tonight. #ff7 #ff7r #twitch

This being said... "It wasn't in the original so it doesn't need to be in the remake" is a stupid-ass statement and less than npc-like behavior.

In case anyone wants to come at me, my standards for remakes is #Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Everything from the original games, everything from the additional version, plus a little extra with updated visuals and audio.

I hate to do this, but I'm cancelling tonights stream. I've had an allergy issue going on for a few days now and if I were to get on camera, I'd be grumpy and have a shitty attitude. No one wants that. So I'll see you guys tomorrow #twitch

I asked Shadow the Hedgehog to pay for my Costco membership. He called me a slur and made me watch as he force fed my hamster avocados.

Man, one of the worst feelings is when someone decides they know how you feel because you "have a look on your face" despite it previously being stated you have a resting bitch face. Hi, I'm bitch face by the way, what the fuck am I supposed to do about it?!

Thanks to everyone who came to the final #Pokemon #legendsza stream last night. It was such a wonderful game, and really brought back a lot of what I love about Pokemon as a franchise. I was so glad to have those 203 side quests, and ending with a final battle against Zeraora was amazing. #twitch

I got bullied by Val into watching Shin Godzilla as well as Godzilla minus one. Minus one brought me to tears, and Shin pissed me off. Fantastic films. Thanks for kidnapping me!

The concept of spoilers exists because of other people. If your attitude is "well it isn't a spoiler because this is a reboot of a thing that's been told already" please consider that people younger than you exist and the thing you already saw is entirely new to them. It's not about what YOU know.

Sorry about the lack of stream today, I had some fairly serious irl business to take care of, but I'll do a Sonic Crossworlds stream this weekend to make up for it. Turtles just dropped and I'm excited to get to that festival.

Johnny Fival @jetsetjohnny5.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

Sorry its a little on the later end of today, I forgot to make it yesterday. See you all tomorrow on #Twitch and #Youtube for Pokemon Legends Z-A!

Johnny Fival @jetsetjohnny5.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

This means that anything that I've caught for points in hyperspace will be up for grabs (sans legendaries for obvious reasons.) See you guys tomorrow for more #PokemonLegendZA! Johnny5, out!

Johnny Fival @jetsetjohnny5.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

I'm noticing that a lot of people want to trade during my streams of #PokemonLegendZA. I would love to help you all out, but I can't pause in the middle to trade #pokemon... Sorry! So I'm going to be implementing a 15 min trade time at the end of every LegendsZA stream.

So Good news! I've gotten back on track with my new sleep schedule. Streams are going to be starting back up tomorrow night around 12am-ish EST, and perhaps in the mornings on very specific days. I'll start posting a schedule starting next week! Stay Tuned~ #Twitch #Youtube

"I'd kill for my child" okay but would you put aside your preconceived notions of gender or sexuality for your child? would you apologize to your child when you're wrong? would you tell your child they can be whoever they want to be, and mean it? your child doesn't need more killing in their name

Hope you can get some rest, man.

Johnny Fival @jetsetjohnny5.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

Well folks, looks like we won't be having the rest of the stream right now. My ISP has decided that 1-6am starts at 11:30am, which means that any sort of progress towards that hyperspace hole is postponed til later tonight. We'll stream more #Pokemon #LegendsZA Tonight at 8pm EST

I tried this and my bestie just called me seven slurs.

000

Johnny Fival @jetsetjohnny5.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

But the characters can be one to one with their in-game counterparts, and they'll fall flat if they don't have the other two. Because at the end of the day, Persona is a school drama with a mystery and world ending stakes tossed in. I know that's reductive, but at its core that's what it is.

000

Johnny Fival @jetsetjohnny5.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

This goes doubly so for the outside world as well. I doubt persona 5 would've lit up like it did if it weren't for the choices it made with the atmosphere of even the school hallways. If they are going to lose even one of the three elements, you can enjoy a fight fest with strong environmentals.

100

Johnny Fival @jetsetjohnny5.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

And I agree with you one hundred percent on that front, especially if they're going to adapt Persona 4 of all things. However, the franchise is also known for its mystery factor and they cannot get away with having less than a stellar interpretation of either the TV World, Tartarus, or Mementos.

110

Johnny Fival @jetsetjohnny5.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

To each their own. I like GoBusters, and I realize I'm in the minority on that one. All I'm trying to say is, is that if they can get the supernatural / mystery vibes of Persona right (Which 21 Laps I'm certain can do) and they can have proper fight choreography, then it should be fun to watch.

100

Johnny Fival @jetsetjohnny5.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

Hey, if it's a fun watch that's about all I can really ask for. I can only hope it's not a DeathNote situation. No studio could've saved that. (=_=;)

100

Johnny Fival @jetsetjohnny5.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

So at the very least it's watchable. I don't have firsthand experience to say one way or another how this will turn out as I'm not particularly a fan of the Star Trek series and therefore don't have any basis for the opinion on Picard.

Johnny Fival @jetsetjohnny5.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

Lionsgates Power Rangers. The movie had a writer that spent time yoinking parts from previous writers scripts until the we ended up with the generic teen drama with "oops powers activated" slop. The studio took what it was given and filled the back end with a cgi robot fight to carry the movie.
