Saw a new burger place on Uber Eats. Saw AI generated art. No thanks. If you’re willing to cut corners on your marketing, where else are you cutting corners?

Hey #letterboxd folks. Thoughts on logging Rifftrax? I don’t log MST3K because that’s a TV episode with its own structure, characters, and skits. But I do log commentary tracks, but I also never see a film for the first time with commentary.

Based on a wish from @jmtorres.bsky.social on Tumblr, I made a simple PHP page that will give you a random Star Trek episode. treklikesyndication.space The idea is that you are stumbling upon a random episode while flipping channels.

The streak is broken, alas. After 94 straight days of logging something in Letterboxd, I didn’t watch anything yesterday. With no momentum to maintain, I will probably slow down significantly.

Jetpack Monkey @jetpackmonkey.bsky.social · 18/12/2025

The choices in this film (Blood Orange) are baffling. Tom Conway plays a private detective Tom Conway, but for some reason he's doing a flat and nasal American accent when the whole appeal of Tom Conway is that British purr.

I hit an unexpected milestone in my Letterboxd stats. It's been a year since I went a week without logging some kind of film. I only really thought of my film viewing as ramping up in December of 2024, but I guess I was being consistent prior to that.
