I had an absolute blast! Some good scares with some good laughs mixed in. Not sure if the Resident Evil name helps or hurts it, though. Outside of a place and a company being name-dropped, and a matching symbols situation, it felt like it was doing its own thing and could stand on its own.

The new Star Fox is great, and the new additions help flesh it out, but at the end of the day it's still just Star Fox 64 again. I want them to bring back the original Star Fox. Let it have smooth analog controls, a frame rate well above the teens, and polygons with more than just one solid color.

Welp. I just beat Skyward Sword HD on Switch. The first time I played Skyward Sword was on Wii back when it was new, and I kinda hated it back then. Figured I'd give it a second chance with the new quality-of-life changes and see how I really felt. Still don't like it.

I think I would've preferred if the new Star Fox was a remake of the SNES original instead of 64 yet again. Going back to the digital controls and chunky frame rate is rough, while 64 still plays great. At the very least, I hope the SNES stages are added as DLC.
