This is the problem I get 99% of the time when initially going to my puny website (www.site2241.net). It only happens on Android. And I *love* how these messages are always, "It's not our fault; it's probably your fault."

I'm playing around with my one of my SDRs (software defined radios), and I discovered that one of my neighbors (NFI) has a wireless thermometer. Wondering if I should, at some point, open up the back door and yell, "Grill's ready!"

One of my neighbors has an outdoor temp / humidity sensor that I can read with one of my RTL-SDRs. It's currently reading 32.1 C (90 F). Earlier, it was 33.5 C (92 F). And I'm, what, 5 - 6 hours north of you? Not much better up here.

Other devices, typically the "smarter" ones, will not use the frequencies with the interference. This is a spectrogram and spectral display I captured of my PS5 and controller talking to each other. You also see the Wifi beacons, but they're not strong enough to cause issues. /11

That microwave belongs in that band; everything else you see are interlopers. Can that microwave interfere with your "Wifi"? Yup. I captured this display using "jperf" some years ago. This was the communication between two Wifi devices, but with my microwave warming a coffee cup of water. /7

This is a spectrogram I captured of the 2.4 ISM band from an antenna in my attic. It shows several "Wifi" access points sending out beacons, plus someones microwave oven. That line that is meandering down the screen just to the right of center? That's a microwave. /6

This is what my microwave oven looks like in the spectrum with an antenna about 1 meter away. As I said, they produce a LOT of spectral noise. They must comply with certain FCC regulations with respect to how much they emanate, but they still spew out a lot of... stuff. /5

#NASA #DSN now using one of the 70 meter dishes to collect signals from #Artemis.

Took these in March 2016, if that helps.

Out for my daily walk & came upon this. Those of you with pets, give them an extra scritch in honor of Jackson Ray.

I've been studying Gray coding and differential encoding. It led to this:

For no particular reason, I'm one of those OCD (borderline CDO) people who tracks every cost of my vehicle. Including gas. This chart shows how much I've paid per gallon for the two cars I've owned since 2004. This should give you an idea of how this cost has changed over time.
