My nonverbal comms class wants me to make 4 videos (already hate that idea) FILMING PEOPLE IN PUBLIC WITHOUT THEIR PERMISSION while I 1. Judge their customer service based on my appearance 2. Stare at 5 strangers 3. Invade someone's personal space & 4. Show them a private place of my own in detail.

Classes for early fall start up today so like a good student I was reading the syllabus and found a picture of a very furry cat. If I mention the cat in an email to the prof on Aug 17th I get 5 points added to my final cumulative grade...God I love university.

It will cost more than my car is worth to repair it, which leaves us without a vehicle. I don't know what to do, or how we can afford another, but I can't work without one... it's all so circular and maddening!

5 hours later I am home from the ER with bruises, bine bruising, and sprains, but NOTHING IS BROKEN! And I can finally get rid of that awful C collar. Now for lots of drugs so I can try to sleep.

So I was leaning forward putting the sun screen in the window with one hand and turning off the ignition with the other when the airbag spontaneously deployed. My car is undrivable and I'm stuck in the hospital waiting on imaging to see if/what is broken. Fucking great.

Had to come sit at my moms with her animals because maintenance is here fixing her bathroom wall. The cat HATES this man. Scrambled to hide, ears back, low to the ground, hissed when he went past, and now has been standing watch here for about 3 hours...

I switched most of my kids to an online curriculum for Homeschool and they actually love it, and I can keep up with their diagnostic stuff, they work at their own pace, and it's all grades through highschool but I feel guilty now, like I'm being lazy about their education 😞

Talked to my dad last night about the pros/cons of students loans now that the pell grant isn't covering what it used to, because I'm terrified of debt and he said "What's the worst that could happen if you can't pay it back? You've already got nothing." Thanks Dad.😅
