Many are barely holding onto insurance and cutting other basic needs to pay for insurance. As a self-employed person, health insurance costs as much as our rent in one of CA’s most expensive cities. And we have large deductibles on top of that. This should be a central issue.

CA has about 40% Rs so if they only have two candidates to choose from and we have 10 then it means our candidates have less votes individually so potentially none of them make it into the top two. I would be very happy if I’m missing something here and don’t need to worry. 2/2

I actually do think we need to worry because of the jungle primary system we have. There are only two Rs running and over a dozen Ds who are all splitting up the vote. In our primary the two top vote getters go to the final regardless of party. 1/2
