when my masc lesbian aunt died, women just kept coming, screaming, crying, and saying they were her wives. Eventually we just had to start telling them to join the others. They were all devastated to learn about each other. Except for one who came in, kissed her dead mouth and showed us all that they had matching tattoos. She actually won all the mourning wives over and they all agreed she was the wife. It was so weird.

Did not expect more than a few people to see this but yes it really happened, yes it was insane

They wouldn’t mention AI in the standards. It’d be “respond to ALL messages in a timely manner.” They’ll set “reasonable expectations” based on quarterly “average responses.” Suddenly it’s 10k messages per day, bc most people use the “optional” AI msg tools. Not defending this. They just will.

Potentially. But only if it’s direct. Standard corporate HR practice already has the workaround though. Set new company-wide performance expectations (in this case veiled AI-assisted productivity metrics), and when people can’t meet them they’ll get put on a PIP, which they’ll fail.

LABO is unforgettable to me. (lore drop) I was lucky enough to be step-parent to an 8yo stem/music/gaming kid when it came out, and it was pure unbridled magic. We got all of them. Had to order some from Japan iirc. Every detail was so well thought out. The instructions were better than LEGO.
