One of the saddest things I had not noticed before… it looks like at least some of the Jawas tried to defend themselves. This one has a Tusken-ish rifle it seems. Poor dudes.

I wonder if, on Groundhog Day, I should just name a film I’ve never seen that’ll piss of my friends. Like a fun little holiday all my own.

This is a toy review… it may seem like incoherent ramblings from an incel about #StarWars and lesbians and women and Disney, but this is actually supposedly a review of a little plastic toy person. #StarWarsCollecting #StarWarsTVC #Toys #ActionFigures #LesbiansAreCool

Toy engineering is art all its own. It’s something I appreciate about toy lines the older I’ve gotten, and the ingenuity going into their designs.

I was today years old when I learned the hole in the floor of the Death Star hangar wasn’t some giant chasm but just an oil change pit for Star Wars ships. 🤔

Why are retro figures $20? And how, with them almost always universally going to clearance, across brands, still considered a viable thing? There’s gotta be a mega margin on those that makes them foolproof to keep making that crap.

It’s oddly warm in Pittsburgh… but some fuckin weirdo is out mowing. This guy needs on some kinda watch list.

Tonight’s 3d printing fun was experimenting with clear resins. It’s cheapy so it yellowed some right away. Good stuff is $44 a bottle so cheap stuff for $15 is how I’ll learn haha. I’m pleased though… and it’s tintable with alcohol ink too I guess. I’m intrigued.

I got this schleich (they still make Smurf toys which is kinda wild) toy for a lil custom project, and it had this dude. He looks like a figure of Justin Timberlake at a diddy party getting a 1000 yard stare from it.

Comedy Central constantly airing family guy is like TLC airing constant shows about redneck white trash and morbidly obese people.

Imagine what they’d accomplish if, say, they put that much effort into finding the killer of someone who wasn’t rich… they’d maybe not have 1000s of cold case files in NYC if they actually always cared. Fascinating

Cranked out a new figure… another @teccotoys.bsky.social figure, upscaled to 1/20-1/18-ish. First perfect print I’ve managed in a bit that I didn’t have to do extra to get the parts that didn’t work out. He looks snazzy… mecha pilot/construction dude. Yay.

More booty figures… now they’re even doing unmade helmets. Excuse my photos cuz I suck at it and when I try being fancy I suck worse. Yes that is production quality ARF helmets and they come in phase I & II flavors even. Wild. Heads under the buckets are unpainted but other use production quality
