This is a stressful situation for a goalie. The shooter can release at any point. If you’re not set you can get beat easily, especially 5-hole. But if you set your feet early, the puck drifts & you’re off your angle, leaving space blocker side. Murashov played it perfectly.

Sergei Murashov was great again last night, stopping 43 of 45 shots. His feet are so quick. It allows him to make tiny micro-adjustments to his positioning when the puck gets pulled across the front of the net, like on this play. (1/2)
