I beg of web app developers to all solidify on _one_ redirect URI for OIDC. Please just all use `/auth/callback`. It pains me each time I have to add another `elif` to this function. #oidc

I drew some word art of a motto I'm living by lately. Drawn in krita on my starlite tablet running Debian Trixie :) I couldn't decide what looked better, so here's both versions. #ethics #starlite #krita #fediart #art
Pale spring green word art that says "Do what is ethical" with small text that says "even if you suck at it!". The word art has little circuit tracers in it and beside the word "What" it has a large green heart with it's own tracers. There are accents of purple internally and blue + neon green outside of the art.The same word art from before, but this time the main color is neon green rather than pale spring green, and the heart is smaller with less pronounced tracers.

My shirt black with a black hooded croptop that says "cyber trans 2023" with little trans symbols all over it and black sheer sleeves. On my bag strap, you can see an EFF pin. You can also see I am wearing a con badge, but the badge is obscured. My pants are black with cutouts and fake straps all over them, and my giant black boots give me an extra 4 or so cm. selfie of max and I in front of a large orange and blue kubecon and cloudnativecon europe sign. The lighting is great, and you can see our blue and purple hair respectively really good. We're both in FFP3 masks, and I'm looking directly at the camera and smiling, but Max is squinting in pain, because they can't handle the light. I tried to put my hand over their forehead to create a little visor, but it didn't help, so it just looks like I am hurting them and they are suffering while I have a kickass time.A better photo of the both of us in front of a different sign, this time you can see Max's blue eyes, and can tell we're both smiling even though we're in FFP3 masks. Photo of myself my two coworkers and I all bending down next to a table that has a giant orange sign with dark blue logos and text for KubeCon and CloudNativeCon Europe 2026.

My two coworkers on the left are sqautting and have pale white and pink skin. The one on the left has a black mullet (that's Marlon!), and the one on the right has a purple pixie cut (that's Max!). Max is wearing an FFP3 mask. I'm on the far right and I have a blue side swoop hair cut and pale olive skin. I'm also in an FFP3 mask, and I also hae a big black backpack on.

We're all wearing all black pants and long sleeves. This was unintentionally coordinated. We're all just super goth and cool.

For those using both vim/neovim _and_ Grafana Alloy, I've spent some time on the syntax highlighting plugin which may be useful to you: github.com/jessebot/vim-alloy It's a fork of grafana/vim-alloy and I did my best to contribute a PR as well […] [Original post on social.smallhack.org]
screenshot to show the syntax highlighting of a config.alloy file. There are two blocks: livedebugging and local.file_match with a comment over the latter. All attributes are blue, all blocks are teal with labels green in cursive. All equal signs are yellow, brackets are red, and curly braces are magenta. Strings are green and parentheses are cornflower blue.

I absolutely love the compact mode that comes with zen browser (fork of firefox). Look at this side by side comparison of both Zen (left) and Librewolf (right, more direct fork of firefox). I really love that the tool bar is hidden on the left in an […] [Original post on social.smallhack.org]
A screenshot of someone using both zen browser (left) and librewolf browser (right) side by side on macbook. On both pages, they're viewing the elk frontend for mastodon and GoToSocial.

Zenbrowser doesn't have a tool or title bar at the top, so the webpage takes up all the room from top to bottom of the screen. You can see less on the right side for librewolf (which is a more direct firefox fork) because of the url/tool bar, plus the tab/title bar. On the left (zenbrowser), you can see the full post, plus the date and amount of replies, boosts, favorites and bookmark status. On the right (librewolf), it cuts off the date and buttons, since you lose like three lines of viewable space.

The post is from Owls in Towels on March 19, 2025 at 8:05:59 PM and says Small selection of ruru (Ninox novaeseelandiae) in care at Wildbase Recovery NZ 💛 hashtag owlsintowels
