This week I visited to Toronto and got to visit the Biblio-mat at Monkeys Paw, have some Medieval Times, see Niagara Falls again, see BTS in concert (not #BTSArmy but my wife is), eat incredible food, meet wonderful people, pet some Alpacas (and a farm cat) on my way home. #ElbowsUp for Canada. 1/3

Latest project, Moss Agate bezel mounted in nugold with a double ring in 18g half round nugold. Size 13(ish). Its a chunky ring but wanted to experiment with this style of ring. Hexagon seems to be a pattern lately. #jewelrysky #jewelry #jewelrymaker #schmuckmacher

Fairly certain this hosta is a descendent from the Paleocene era. Plus some Elderberry blooms. #gardensky

This massive hosta is shown, swallowing my flower beds and part of my porch. My hand outstretched to touch it, and treading carefully so as to not be consumed. A descendent most likely from the Paleocene era, its sole ambition is to do its ancestors proud. Really it needs a good splitting.

Couple shots of the silver crescent. This was actually from a failed piece that I repurposed. Pattern rolled silver, its somewhat thin. I threaded some half-round copper through existing holes which was a pain. Small turqouise stone mounted on the underside of the crescent. #jewelrysky #jewelersky

Three mystical items lay upon a chest. It is actually three pendants I created. Top left is a silver crescent with a small stone and copper threaded through; top right is a layered piece in copper and nugold with a moss agate stone; Bottom is the most recent and is a riveted piece in copper, nugold with a mounted circular stone that is held with brass posts.

Spring seeding has started (zone 6b). Last frost is about a month away! Lots of peppers (hot and not), lettuce, okra, some hherbs, and flower varieties. Shelf is a behind the toilet type that was repurposed. Paired with warming mats, lights and humidity domes (from previous sets). #gardensky

A small shelf holds seedling trays on warming mats with UV lights for growing. Supplies sit on the top shelf (starter soil, cleaning, etc)

72 small cells for seed starting. These are Burpee reusable trays. The small cells work for most starts that don't need a ton of initial space. Planted here we have lettuce, chickory, basil (two types), catnip and a variety of flowers.

32 XL cells, for plants needing a housing upgrade to start. Here we have a variety of peppers, both hot and mild (green and purple), okra, cabbage.

Book 1 of 2026: _The End in all Beginnings_ by John F.D. Taff. A collection of 5 stories, they're all different in so many ways but a showcase of his own favorite works. It has a bit of horror, a bit of sci-fi, a bit occult, yet underneath it all, its great story telling. #booksky #badhandbooks

From this years reads, my favorite has been 'All The Stars Die' by John F.D. Taff. A collection of Cosmic & Existential Horror, it is masterful at storytelling and keeps you in its grips (claws? tendrils?). I had to force it down between reads, or suffer eternal night. 1/3 #booksky #badhandbooks

Elderberry plants, young that they are, line a fence. They plot world domination.
