On the other hand, who could tell this became massive: "A chemistry teacher diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer turns to manufacturing and selling methamphetamine with a former student to secure his family's future."

I made a p5.js wrapper for Svelte you can install with `npm i @‎sveltecraft/p5-svelte` or watch the video where I explain how it's used and making old libraries work in Svelte youtu.be/97bD9ZHwv2U

You're on the right track. Opencode and the go plan is 👍 also openai (they still allow the browser login = max plan rather than the api )

Umbraco & AI. "This is the way". ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ill add the Last ⭐ when the MCP understands the content blocks even better. It's super impressive already. Working with Content, specially rte, block grid is expensive (tokens) so I can recommend adding endpoints to "patch" umbraco.com/blog/ai-inte...

To improve browsing show less of each. Ex kill the GitHub info in the lists. (Or make two views) Also pls fix dropdown menu on mobile. Currently it stays open after navigating which you almost can't see.

It would be useful to have a separate filter "UI". To be able to browse all "shadcn" across all categories would make browsing for something that fits my project very useful.

We released a Svelte Skill! It will teach your agent to use the svelte CLI to invoke the same tools as the MCP! We also released a subagent so that docs and iterations with the autofixer don't take up precious context! And you can get all of that easily because the repo is now a Marketplace! 🧡

I do get results better than dog riding bicycle (lol). Far better. But it requires more prompting with svelte projects than with react. And thats not perfect

Jesper Ordrup @jesperordrup.bsky.social · 02/11/2025

I'm think they besides the MCP there could be a benefit in sharing the best AGENTS.md and other how-to-guides to stop agents from downgrading to 4 etc.

agents.md

AGENTS.md

AGENTS.md is a simple, open format for guiding coding agents. Think of it as a README for agents.

Jesper Ordrup @jesperordrup.bsky.social · 02/11/2025

I'm not sure it's missing anything. Its prob more that there is not enough svelte content compared to react. And that's hard to make up for. So this makes it even more important to ensure that at least the setups are optimal to compensate.

120

Jesper Ordrup @jesperordrup.bsky.social · 02/11/2025

Oh. So don't mind me asking - you're just not into that "ai thing" or did bad results (with svelte) make the choice for you? Still it's a major thing for many svelters (sveltorians?) - so it has to get better. I'm searching for initiatives in the community

230

Jesper Ordrup @jesperordrup.bsky.social · 02/11/2025

Hi @rich-harris.dev what is your current choice of tools and how to make the best of them? Are your results with ai good? My experience is that we struggle with svelte compared to react.

It looks like Svelte remote functions got even better since the initial proposal and it's even easier to do optimistic UI updates when the actual PR lands.
