I have a SPDIF rear panel bracket, I want to use the optical but my motherboard doesn't have a 5v pin anywhere handy, so I grabbed a cable from the gaudy corsair side panel light that uses 5v sata power and shoved the +5v pin into the +5v header, leaving the ground hanging off, because I already have ground.

If anyone needs a high res (3840x2880) version of the windows 9X setup screen so you can set it as your wallpaper without bilinear scaling to blur the image, here ya go.

the win9X setup screen. it's interpolated, there's a Microsoft 2 button mouse at the bottom, there's CDs in the middle, there's a VGA, DC, and US AC cable, the background is indistinguishable circuits.

oh you can resize the sidebar in helium you just have to turn off frameless mode before you resize that's handy I just wish the sidebar was only a little window in the top left corner instead of the entire screen but whatevs

Logi Mobi Fold mouse. it folds flat and has an air gap under it. it's very small and doesn't look very comfortable.

I love simple applications that have zero fluff this app doesn't need an app icon and doesn't have it. the app is a fifth of a killobite. it just emulates the touchpad gesture at inhuman speed. it doesn't need anything fancy.

The app InstantSpaceSwitcher has the default project app icon, the default one MacOS assigns to apps without their own.

here's the contents if anyone's wondering. nothing special.

The MacOS settings app opened to CDs & DVDs, the contents show options for Blank CD & DVD, and for Music CD, Picture CD, and Video DVD. the last option is to show the eject button in the menu bar (it only works for discs)

the new W11 start menu is actually good :gummythumbsup:

The New Windows 11 start menu, the pinned icons are at the top and the all app menu is pre-expanded in a grid sorted by letter, the icons within the letter then move off to the right from there.
