I think we have different definitions of consistency. He only goes about five most games, but most games are five innings with a few hits, a couple of walks, a good handful of strikeouts and barely any runs allowed.

Or…crazy idea—let the rapacious capitalist billionaires who buy these teams actually take the risk of losing a bit of money along the way. They are the most capitalistic people on the planet until they buy a team and then they are insistent that their costs must be capped.

Because this year’s payroll is so out of balance with the results, everyone forgets that the #Mets have only Soto and Lindor under contract beyond 2028. They have no long-term salary fears (depending on what the new CBA says).
