astounding how people have decided that the correct way to think about the Levant conflict is to view *any humanization of one of the sides as fundamentally traitorous*. It’s not enough even to say “Israel is mostly the bad guy” - which isn’t necessarily my position, but it’s clearly insufficient

Three years ago today, on October 7, 2023, Hamas invaded Israel and carried out a deadly, horrific attack, murdering around 1,200 people and taking over 250 hostages. Families were torn apart in a single morning. We remember every one of them.
