I'm editing Vol. 3 of a trilogy for a client. It's so much easier to catch stray goofs when someone else wrote them. When I edit my own work I spend half of my attention thinking, "I could have written that better" or "This is a better word here." Also, I get paid for this, so yay. #editing

If not the middle of nowhere, then very close to it. Ex-Iron Butt Rally ST1100 with an auxiliary gas tank for a total of 11 gallons, or 400 non-stop miles. It was overkill for my 150-mile ass, but range anxiety was a non-issue. #motosky

Watched the hot new sci-fi movie last night and couldn't stop thinking about the plot holes, the hand-wavey technobabble, and the logic gaps. Ended up wondering if I was overthinking it, or if everyone else is underthinking it. Important lesson either way: Popular does not necessarily equal good.
