I actually started salubase.com before agentic coding as an exercise in NLP to perform pattern matching for blood result markers i had from tests in different countries. It's nice to finally "finish" something #buildinpublic

Been using Mistral Vibe for a while for the sake of using European tech I was trying BDD with cucumber which is pretty cool Unfortunately, to "pass the tests" instead of implementing features in the app, it just inserted stuff directly in the db in the tests then checked if they were there. Lol

Unbelievable framing from the guardian The "brains behind Labour's come back" was the same "brains" behind the collapse in the first place...

Tailwind CSS lays of 75% of it's staff because humans are no longer reading documentation. Previously, their business model involved advertising and affiliate links on technical docs. Now people just use LLMs that don't pay for clicks

The Venezuelan state doesn't have direct control of every department, and most of the oil is located south in areas Maduro controlled only by proxy via armed Collectivos In order to resume drilling, security is necessary Maduro very deliberately made security impossible in the event of deposition

MAGA accounts on facebook have gone absolutely horseshoe over Iran. "No more foreign wars" was a major part of Trump's appeal to his base, and they are really having a day over this. Obviously, Israel is the Villain, not Trump

If the strategy was a limited strike to shift the story away from 2 million starving people being bombed in tents. Mission accomplished.

There's something surprisingly soothing about having a robot giving you basic calls to action - even when you try and convince it that everything is more complicated.

One frustrating thing about life is that sitting at the top of Mt Stupid and flipping coins is a strategy that will, statistically, produce a bunch of winners. Then we all have to listen to them forever And read books about their habits and bullshit

There is a mega campaign of phising happening on facebook right now. Not necessarily super sophisticated but the scale seems enormous On a rare visit I'm seeing dozens of these "can't believe you are gone 😥" messages with a link to a fake facebook login page and a header related to a car crash

I will never understand how distributing models trained on copyrighted material falls under "fair use" If you distribute a model on copyrighted material that can reproduce it the model clearly contains that material It's a fascinating and powerful kind of data compression. Like an mp3
