Please join us for the 78th annual meeting of the Eastern Association of Electroencephalographers (EAEEG) at the Boston Harvard Club on April 25th. This will be a 1-day meeting (8:30AM-4:30PM), and we will plan a social outing on Saturday, April 26th that will be followed by a general meeting of the board and any other members of the society interested in attending. Meeting registration is limited, and preference will be given to society members.

We are actively recruiting speakers for additional symposia as well as the Kershman and Milner Lectures. Applications for these are due March 7th. To mark the passing of our past President and Secretary Mac Burnham we will create a named symposium and Fellowship award in his honor.
For the 2025 meeting, we will attempt to build on the strengths of the society and look to the future of how EEG is implemented in the clinic and in basic science. Our proposal for the theme of the meeting will be "Decoding the brain", and we'll be looking to recruit additional speakers working on automated analyses of EEG (particularly those using AI), intracranial devices and single unit recording in patients, neuromodulation, and those speaking to our usual strengths of complex systems approaches and novel drug discovery.

This is the first call for abstracts related to the free communications for trainees (10-minute platform talks, 5 minutes questions). Abstracts should be sent by email by March 7th, 2025, to Jeremy Barry (Jeremy.barry@med.uvm.edu). Accepted free communications abstracts will be published in the journal Clinical Neurophysiology.
