Well... Jag var sur på S som några år tidigare formulerat målet att sjuktalet skulle ner till 9,0, vilket ledde fram till en kraftig åtstramning i sjukförsäkringen. Detta genom ett regleringsbrev till FK, vilket innebar att regeringen rundade riksdagen. Samma sak skedde inom personlig assistans.

På bokmässan förra året sa jag till en massa människor att uppföljaren till Kugghjulssjälar nog skulle bli klar i tid till bokmässan 2026. Det var överoptimistiskt. HAVSHIMLAVÄGAR har större omfång, fler rörliga delar att foga ihop, och allt tog längre tid. Men i mars nästa år så kommer den!

There's a medical conspiracy theory that cancer is all about lifestyle - in dogs too. Kibble->cancer. "Natural" food -> no cancer. We KNOW different dog breeds have vastly different cancer rates. This implies that different breeds are fed different diets - even when they're all family pets!

We have 3 dogs. I dreamt we had 8. I said: "Implausible! We don't have the time and money to walk and feed all these dogs. Some of them must be dreamt!" Alexander agreed ... BUT "How do we know which ones are real?" Seemed like a big problem to us, but it got automatically sorted when I woke up.

We watched del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth. It's a very dark fantasy story, so not everyone's cup of tea, but it's AMAZING. The villain is a fascist. Not a fantasy counterpart, not a generic bad guy with sorta fascist aesthetics, but an actual human fascist in 1944 Spain doing actually evil things.
