I’ll scan these proper for archival purposes later but one thing about going through art that you havent seen in over 20 yrs is finding stuff that you thought was completely lost like all my char design sketches for Return to Angel Island including the super lost “third eye” design for Dr. Finitevus

From top left to bottom right:

1. Return to Angel Island rejected gag design sketch for Lien-Da
2. Scrapped Ecyclopedia entry for General Kage (I may have scrapped it due to the KP lawsuit? I don’t remember)
3. Return to Angel Island sketch for Lien-Da’s actual final design
4. Return to Angel Island character sketch for Locke
5. Scrapped Encyclopedia entry for Dr. Finitevus (I think I scrapped this because I didn’t like the composition?)
6. Long lost original design for Dr. Finitevus with his third eye (see other pic)

From top left to bottom right:

1. Return to Angel Island character sketches for Lara and Wyn
2. Return to Angel Island character sketch for Remington
3. Return to Angel Island character sketches for the Frost and Flame Legionnaires
4. Return to Angel Island character sketch for the Dingo Armada (based on Megaman Legends)
5. Return to Angel Island character sketch for General Kage
6. Return to Angel Island character sketch for The Hunter (based loosely on some clothing designs from Phantasy Star Online)

The other Table of Contents entry from the Archie Sonic Encyclopedia drawn to reflect Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow’s key villains (Dr. Eggman, Great Battlekuku XV, Dr. Finitevus, and Mephiles the Dark) respectively

Finitevus’ original third eye design (rejected for being too creepy lol) which I thought had been completely lost time but was actually buried in the wrong area of my filing cabinet lol

Finally finished my Sonic 3D Blast flicky redesigns for future headcanon world building with other sonic characters. Pretty happy with how these turned out. Each one is partially based on real birds including a parakeet, hummingbird, kapapo, and woodpecker ☀️ #art #birds #sonic #sonicthehedgehog

Blue and Pink flicky bird from the sonic series

Green and red flicky bird from the sonic series

i promise you, revenge [cw blood] #sonicthehedgehog

(my art) a painting of Shadow the Hedgehog holding a pistol, with a ghost version of Maria behind him. She's cradling his head & putting the other hand on top of the gun. He looks vacant & is covered in blood.
