Facebook served me an ad for this Harry-Potter themed Le Creuset Dutch oven. Folks, does this...look like what I think it looks like? Is "the Golden Snatch" anything? Thx.

A staff member shared photos of a visit to our campus, now burned. There was a rosemary bush still alive in our garden. I went up to see the campus. I took 100 clippings from the giant rosemary bush. @siobhandougall.com washed them really, really well. We planted them in peat pots to give out.

I think, literally every day, about how DJT is just a fascist, racist, uncool, unfascinating riff on Zaphod. (Sorry, Zaphod.) He is so profoundly ignorant, so easily persuaded by anyone who flatters him. I wonder how many people who are somewhat smart and definitely horrible are pulling the strings.

An excerpt from Douglas Adams' "The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy", reading: "The President in particular is very much a figurehead—he wields no real power whatsoever. He is apparently chosen by the government, but the qualities he is required to display are not those of leadership but those of finely judged outrage.
