I thought it'd be a swell idea to create a starter pack of journalists who specialise in throwing light on the dark(er) side of football. It's small for two reasons: there aren't many of us; and I've probably forgotten plenty of excellent people. Thank you for suggesting additions in replies.

@playthegame-org.bsky.social is deeply concerned to hear that Anatoly Kotau, international coordinator of the BSSF/Belarusian Sport Solidarity Foundation, has disappeared in Turkey. We worry he's victim to persecution by Russian/Belarusian authorities. More on BSSF fb page www.facebook.com/bssfbel

Israel optrapper massive bombardementer i Gaza. Alt for mange civile ofre. Nødhjælp bliver brugt som våben. Og nødhjælpsarbejdere er mål. Det må stoppe. Var sammen med disse gode mennesker i Folketingets Udenrigsudvalg for at opfordrer til større dansk engagement. Der må handles !

Trump declares 2 April "Liberation Day". By sheer coincidence, it is the 220th birthday of the great Danish fairy tale-author Hans Christian Andersen. I have no clue why I came to think of one of Andersen's funniest stories, so irrelevant for emperors today. 😏 andersen.sdu.dk/vaerk/hersho...
