Jens Scherbl @jensscherbl.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Siri AI on macOS can’t see or control the speakers in my Apple Home. It’s a HomePod mini and an AirPlay 2 receiver. I’m not sure if this is because Siri AI isn’t available on iOS in the EU yet, but from my understanding, it’s just shitty Apple Home integration. 010

Jens Scherbl @jensscherbl.bsky.social · 10/09/2026The Duo actually seems like a pretty pragmatic device to me, with the software and form factor working nicely together to solve a lot of little everyday problems. 110
Jens Scherbl @jensscherbl.bsky.social · 10/09/2026Just took a look at the Duo’s tech specs. Apparently, there are no compromises with the display compared to the Pro. And the USB-C connector supports DisplayPort?! Now that’s interesting 🤔 010

Jens Scherbl @jensscherbl.bsky.social · 22/05/2026Anyway, what actually is the current state of llms.txt adoption? Most projects at least have it now as a convenient index, but only a few provide a full Markdown version. Discovery still is a problem, too, models and coding agents don’t look it up by default? And how does it compare to a docs MCP? 140

Jens Scherbl @jensscherbl.bsky.social · 20/05/2026I’ve always been suspicious of accounts commenting on pornbots, especially when it‘s so obviously AI generated. Jens Scherbl @jensscherbl.bsky.social · 24/04/2026Here’s another not-too-far-fetched prediction: Once models become a commodity, they’ll only be billed by usage inside agentic frameworks, workflows, and apps. Monthly subscriptions will be for simple chats and lighter tasks. Anything beyond that probably won’t be practical or sustainable long term. 140
Jens Scherbl @jensscherbl.bsky.social · 24/04/2026AI models are still getting better, sure, but they’re already pretty damn good, and the improvements feel smaller with each new iteration. Probably gonna hit a plateau soon. The next big innovations and differentiators will likely be more about better guardrails and figuring out long-term memory. 020
