So... I've been slowly working on a little personal project at late nights and weekends. Here's "A Safe Place of Intimacy", a nine pages cozy short comic featuring my OCs, Dana (she/her) and the Cabaret's manager (any pronouns) 🥹 (p 1 - 3) #OC #comic

The characters featured in this short comic are Dana (goblin), and the Cabaret manager (demon).

Dana is a short goblin with mane-like shoulder lenght hair and pointy ears. She has a muscular build, freckles and a lot of scars on her body. She's wearing a sleeveless leather shirt, long bracelets that go from her wrist to her elbow, pants and high heels boots.

The manager is a tall demon with slicked back neck length hair, big pointy ears, a pair of cone shaped small horns and a long tail. They wear square-shaped glasses, button up shirt with pulled sleeves, dress pants and dress shoes.

In the first page, the characters are at the dimensional doors hall from the Interdimensional Cabaret. The manager is standing in front of the door that connects with their place. There are other random doors in the background. Dana approaches them from behind.
D: Hey, you going back home now?
M: Hm? Yeah, today I can't stay long. I still have work early tomorrow.

Dana looks slightly sad, and turns to leave.
D: Ah... right, then.

The manager turns in her direction, and takes their hand away from the door handle.
M: But do you need anything?

Dana now looks flustered. She has a hand behind her head, scratching her hair.
D: I was just thinking if... if you, um...
Eh, no... it was nothing, forget it.
The manager looks back at Dana with a confused expression.

On the second page, the manager looks at the door of their place, with a hand on their chin, thinking. Then they look back at Dana.
M: I mean, would you like to join me?
Dana looks flustered and surprised, with blushing cheeks.
D: Eh-? N-no, of course not!
The manager gets a little embarassed from what they said as they see her reaction.
M: Alrighty then! I just... saw you were kinda down today. I thought it could be nice, to chill for a bit? But only if you'd like to, of course.
Both characters are now blushing and avoiding each other's eyes.

On the third page, still looking away from Dana, the manager is now smiling and their tail is wagging.
M: Ah, I just remembered it! Last time you visited, you liked some of the snacks I had in the cabinet... I even bought a few just for you.

Dana now turns to face them with an excited expression.
D: HA! Now we're talking!

The manager opens the door that connects the cabaret to their place, and Dana walks in.
D: Would you look at that, someone is learning how to do the bare minimum to have me around!
M: I'd say you're selling yourself short if you're only coming for a few snacks, Dana.
D: Watch your tongue, if you keep saying nonsense I'll change my mind and you'll be sleeping alone.
