Go read this! I went into this absolutely blind a few months ago and it was a very pleasant, lovely slice of life magic cooking comic!

Finally found the time to beat this game. As per usual people were way too harsh. Insomniac made a damn good Wolverine game. Something we haven't had since 2009. Is it more linear than expected? Maybe. But what matters here is combat, story, & presentation. They fucking nailed that!

JennytheGeek @jennythegeek.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Halloween Watch Diary: World War Z Not as good as I remember but still a fun time. I do think the zombies in this were the evolution of the monster after Dawn of the Dead 2004/28 Days Later's running zombies. Which Train to Busan would use later. Brad Pitt has plot armor built by Tony Stark though.

I feel the most damning nail for free to play fighting games is the case of Nick All Star Brawl vs. Multiversus. Both have iconic cartoon characters (Multiversus arguably being more iconic) in the most accessible fighting game genre. The platform fighter.

Hey don't film people without permission... It can really ruin someone's day. Especially if they're self conscious and anxious already... It's rude and ignorant of other's feelings...

Honestly I think some of the best character work for Spider-Man villains might be in the ones just seen as muscle. No asks how they've been. Either it's orders to punch or take punches. Its only when writers start treating them as people do you really feel bad for not looking any deeper.

David Zaslav can absolutely go fuck himself. Coyote vs. Acme is a wonderful, heartfelt, and earned addition to the Toontown continuity. In many ways, this movie gives Wile E. the respect and love he's deserved for decades. Not a single reason can be found in justifying its destruction except greed.

In the comics, Nomad happened after Steve saw Richard Nixon shoot himself after a big conspiracy. That's not gonna be in the movie. In the comics Sam's original run as Cap was short-lived because Marvel couldn't stand keeping Sam as Cap. So they brought back Steve. Young again. That's in the movie.

I'd like to add a small asterisk. Comics are easier to read for some with aphantasia. Aphantasia varies from person to person but in my case my minds eye is too vague to read prose. What didn't help was people around me belittling me for preferring comics over prose.
