the thing with me is that I've always loved Big Star and the Who and all that but some days the zenith of power pop for me is robot anime girl pop-punk with arrangements that make Meat Loaf sound restrained in comparison www.youtube.com/watch?v=qeBM...

if being blocked by other people bothers you i recommend just drawing huge boobs and posting them online cause then if you see you are blocked you can just go "ah, they must not have liked the huge boobs" and move on without having to think about it again

as a bedroom musician myself it's quite funny learning more about my heroes who, for some reason, preferred making and distributing music without leaving the house or interacting with other people

Been playing a lot of Hatsune Miku rhythm game this week and it's really funny how hard Dixie Flatline was trying to get the Vocaloids invited to the cookout. You've heard of blue-eyed soul, now get ready for blue-haired soul

Sometimes my attraction to beautiful women feels less like sexual desire and more like a leper crawling prostrate to touch the hem of Christ's garment. "If you could just touch her and be touched in turn," says a voice, "your gnawing demons would wash away like darkness in light"

I relate to "So Anxious" by Ginuwine because of how it reframes the feeling of sexual desire as, well, being anxious. SO anxious!

Every line of this is killer, incredible considering it was made by a 23(!!!) y/o who was barely sentient in the '00s. Feeling like "He shall know your ways as if born to them..." but instead of putting on a frehmen suit it's drawing FMA 2003 faces in MS Paint www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvU1...
