Have a great #IndigenousPeoplesDay. My great great grandmother started in North Carolina as Cherokee. Moved to Kentucky & became Italian on a census from 1870. Then, became Portuguese 4 years later. And, was finally Cherokee on the final census listing her. Full circle.
