Same for AI transcriptions. I once interviewed a scientist about flowering plants; he had a light English accent, and every mention was recorded as “flaring plants”. For your own recall, and especially if an editor or reviewer will see your notes, check them after the interview and make corrections

#Aviation contributes roughly as much to #climatechange as plastics production, shipping, or the nation of Brazil. There's work ongoing to make flight greener, but your packages will probably fly carbon-free before you do -- my latest article for Distillations Magazine explains why. 🌎🧪

“Networks Suspend Pool Coverage of Trump After CNN Is Barred.” This is important. Trump has gotten away with abuses of power by dividing the groups (see: lawyers, universities) whose rights he assaulted. In this case, networks are standing in solidarity. www.nytimes.com/live/2026/09...

Screenshot of the top of a whistleblower disclosure titled "USPS Rushed Implementation of New and Untested IT Systems Threatens U.S. Ballot Mail Delivery." Addressed to Senator Blumenthal, the first point details how the whistleblower has "significant concerns about the USPS's secretive, rushed, chaotic, and fundamentally flawed process for the creation and implementation of an entirely new and untested set of IT systems" intended for the 2026 midterms.
