Would assume everyone knows it by now, but just in case "First the traitors, then the invaders" is an explicit reference to The Turner Diaries, where a white supremacist revolution overruns "The System" and kills all their enemy during the evocatively named "Day of the Rope".

Other people do not exist for Trump as actual, separate human beings. He sees and treats them as “self objects” that exist only to benefit (or to threaten) himself. Hence his willingness to put his own words into the mouths of dead soldiers.

15/15 Time for some courage in DC. This is not a drill. Time to invoke the 25th amendment, Section 4 & Trump OUT the door. If he’s not stopped & follows through on his threats to Canada, it would be catastrophic. Are you willing to die for an unjust land-grab at the whim of a mad-man? I’m not.

14/15 Art. I of the Constitution gives a POTUS more power over foreign policy than domestic. But this POTUS has gone too far threatening total destruction of not just Canada & the United States, but the whole post-WWII order. We are in a constitutional crisis NOW. Talk of invading Canada MUST STOP

11/15 Canadians are used to much more expansive social safety nets like universal healthcare and education. Being denied those benefits would only enrage and exacerbate the Canadian resistance. It’s absurd to think Canadians wouldn’t mount a massive & lethal resistance. How many would be killed?

10/15 Canada would be a very costly persistent northern insurgency: • US military would face an unceasing, high-intensity & deadly insurgency across vast stretches of rugged Canadian terrain, draining US &Canadian resources to a breaking point. Who really thinks the elbows up country rolls over?

9/15 Why so sure Canadians wouldn’t fight back? Canadian resistance & insurgency to US imperialism would cause internal unrest. Forced absorption of 41 mil Canadians would fracture domestic US political unity, igniting severe civil conflict. It would be a US constitutional crisis like no other.

3/15 • 1846 (Oregon Treaty): Extended 49th parallel boundary west to the Pacific Ocean. • 1925 (International Boundary Commission): Finalized and made permanent joint mapping of the entire border. What happens if the US unconstitutionally abandons 4 border treaties & annexes Canada?

2/15 …and continued through 1925. • 1783 (Treaty of Paris): Set initial eastern & Great Lakes boundary after the American Revolution. John Adams & Ben Franklin signed for the US in Paris. • 1818 (London Convention): Extended border westward along 49th parallel from Minnesota to Rocky Mountains.

🧵 1/15 The US-Canadian border wasn’t arbitrarily drawn one day like America’s Mad King keeps insisting. It was agreed to through a series of treaties from which the US president cannot just unilaterally withdraw. Key treaties and agreements began in 1783 just after Revolutionary War

Cutting Medicaid waivers for in home care for high support needs disabled people perfectly illustrates the brutal eugenics of this regime. Institutionalizing actually costs much more than waivers for in-home care. It’s about making disabled people disappear; and it costs MORE.

The voice in the background was me of course, but it’s how teachers talked to me EVERY SINGLE DAY, constant condesenscion and mockery, like it was character flaws or laziness that I couldn’t look at them, or struggled to pay attention. School was audio sensory hell.

In the 50s, 60s, and 70s, it’s not that we didn’t exist. It’s that autistics fell into two categories. Either undiagnosed because we learned to mask for survival. Those who couldn’t mask w/high support needs were institutionalized. Not seeing us was very intentional and that’s seen as a good thing.

6/ Why does timing matter? Because southern states reinstating Jim Crow in the south were NOT a knee-jerk reaction to Democrats redistricting in CA & VA. LA v Callais was filed 11 DAYS after Trump was sworn in. In under 2 weeks after taking power, he was planning to steal 2026.

5/ Challengers (including Phillip Callais et al.) sued, arguing that SB8 constituted an unconstitutional racial gerrymander under the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment and the 15th Amendment, as race was the predominant factor in drawing the map.

4/ In response, the LA legislature passed SB8, creating a 2nd majority-Black district (CD06) to be complaint w/the Voting Rights Act of 1965, Sec 5. VRA passed because racist Confederate states, even w/Black populations being 27-38%, completely disenfranchised Black voters.

3/ Following the 2020 census, Louisiana (with 6 congressional districts) faced litigation over its initial map, which had only 1 majority-Black district. A federal court (in Robinson v. Ardoin/Landry) found this likely violated Section 2 of the VRA.

2/ Louisiana v. Callais is a lawsuit filed on Jan 31, 2024, in the Western District of LA, challenging LA’s 2024 congressional map as a racial gerrymander. The suit, filed by "non-African American" voters, alleges the map's 2 majority-Black districts violate Amendments 14 & 15
