Periodically I typo windows 11 as windows 22 and I feel like I'm blasted into the future

010

How is it working for you these days?

Windows 11 is now 5 - did you install it from the very beginning?

Looking up at the trees in fall is like looking at stained glass

The blue sky is barely visible through the leaves of this tree - vivid greens and orange and yellow shows instead in the sky, bisected by the branches of the tree

I've watched it! And agree, it's super good, really does well with humour + horror

020

I watched it cold without looking up anything about it - I think that's the way to go. It's on Netflix

1120

In honour of spooky season - if you like spooky shows and you have not watched Haunting of Hill House yet, spend some time cuddled up on the couch this weekend and watch it

Oh, I didn't realize you had a bluesky account, I thought you were only on mastodon

I don't think so 🤔 I know a lot of people like Japonessa down town but I wasn't a big fan of their sushi (in part as the rolls are gigantic so you can't order a lot of variety unless you go with a bunch of people)

010

I think it's lemon? My husband ordered it for himself so I didn't pay attention 😅

120

It does that too! If magnifier is active

Did you know in Windows 11, WIN + MINUS: Will input en dash – WIN + SHIFT + MINUS: Will input em dash —

164911

❌ Starting to use em dash in your posts because you write your posts with AI ✅ Starting to use em dash in your posts because all the discussion has made you realize you've been using dashes wrong your whole life

I tried them - they tasted like maple but a little off on the front end, but the longer the taste lingered the more it turned... Chickeny

We're all skeleton warriors navigating around in flesh mechs —if you think about it we've been ready for Halloween all along. In this essay I will—

Inside you there are two passwords, and both contain at least 8 characters - suddenly you have enough to play a marvel movie in your mind

"Looking forward to seeing you at your dentist appointment" says the automated message Well, that makes one of us

Btw, if you have never seen that YouTube video with the guy's increasing attempts to keep squirrels out of his bird feeder, it is delightful

Queue the mission impossible music

A squirrel hanging upside down from a dangling bird feeder in order to eat from it

I follow the Costco subreddit and I always get so envious of the random things people seem to have in other stores haha

Also like, super pretty (I suppose liking them is probably conditional on actually liking rice crackers)

0130

In other news, these are dangerously good

Said rice crackers in a bowl - they're vibrant with different colours, green and red and beige and different shapes

I'm still active on mastodon and so far it's never happened to me, but I think mostly people who follow me are the ones that ever see / engage with my stuff as I often don't use hashtags

Control Resonant and Graveyard keeper 2 also just came out , plus witcher 3 will come remastered
