Great turnout tonight. We covered everything from building code to climate change. Thanks to everyone who came out tonight, including the mayoral candidates, our MC, Jaylene Tyme, and moderator, Trudi Goels! And a massive shoutout to the volunteers and staff who made everything happen! #vanpoli

Spent the day drumming, singing, and reflecting. About how kids today learn more about the history of Indigenous Peoples than I did at their age. How we've made some progress, but still have much to do. How grateful I am to those who have given so much to make change. How we can't backside now. 🧡

How very sad to think these folks believe they're somehow making a noble statement by doing this. What dark rabbit hole of misinformation-driven grievance they must have fallen down - and how exhausting it must be to maintain it.

As a Canuck, I'd be open to this. I also think we need to figure out our own backyard and drop the interprovincial trade barriers that effectively make us a country of thirteen trade jurisdictions instead of just one.

Let's be really clear on this one: it's not all kids' genitals - it's girls, specifically. I was an athlete growing up and I would have been MORTIFIED if I'd been forced into anything like this. How anyone can see this as ok is beyond me. It's nonsense, full stop.

Thanks for sharing. We recently installed solar panels on our roof because a) we're doing what we can to decarbonize and b) it was shockingly cheap and easy. I don't know if ppl in BC appreciate just how much the cost of solar has come down - and how accessible the tech is.

I'm training for a marathon, so I have a schedule to keep so I don't get my butt handed to me. That said, I'm not running today and my run a couple days ago (under smoky skies) was in an N95. Not ideal, but when I took it off to do the sniff test, it was an immediate nope and the mask went back on.
